Hi there. I'm not in a very good way tonight. Just came home after dinner out and CRASHED into the bed. It was all I could do to get my contacts off and my flannel PJ's on. I literally fell into bed at 6:30 p.m. I just now got up for a few minutes. I need to go do a load of laundry after this entry and then go back to bed.
After picking TheTeen up from school, I was reminded it was "girls night out" b/c Hubby has racquetball tonight. TheTeen said "let's do Olive Garden"...well gosh...twist my ever lovin' arm! So off we went to lasagna and spaghettiville. I actually had capellini pomodora and it was awesome. I told TheTeen and the waiter that if I was allergic to tomatoes that I would probably keel over after blowing up into one big hellacious hive since I'm already all broken out. I told TheTeen "just remember I love you" if that happens. LOL The waiter said he was scared as to what was going to happen. I started laughing so hard at the waiter. He said that it was ok he knew CPR and First Aid. Well, I didn't swell up into one big hive. The capallini pomodora was excellent! And we sat by a fireplace. I told TheTeen "this is the highlight of my day" and she said "it's the highlight of my week". So it was very good and we may go do that again sometime soon.

Ohhh...work....ohhhhh....well, I finished getting the legal case stuff copied and put in fed ex packages and sent out today. So yay, something BIG off my desk. I then began entering some changes in ADP for this week. And then I worked on a tuition reimbursement for someone, got that scanned in and emailed to corporate. I really needed to work on a Child Support Health Benefit issue and do some step progression reviews that are past due as well, and I have an unemployment claim that needs responding to by Monday, and a leave of absence to process that could possibly effect someone's paycheck. But I'm not sure I'll get to any of it. We had a leadership meeting at 11:15 and that lasted a couple of hours and then the day went South from there. Usually if I don't get things done on Thursday before the meeting, it doesn't get done afterwards. I'm not sure what it is about Thursday afternoon. But anyway, today, an issue came up with a workers comp issue that I really had to stop and try to resolve. Then I had to work with a retiree who was having issues trying to get a life policy cashed out. Then another lawyer needed information regarding a workers comp case, corporate needed information on something. My day was shot down at that point and never recovered. So the rest of The Stack sat there.
I have 4 employee benefit meetings tomorrow. I do not have to conduct the meetings, thank goodness. A United Health Care rep will be there to do part of it, and then our corporate benefits lady will be doing the rest, including 401k. I do not see how we will get it done in an hour. I dread having to wag all the benefits info upstairs at 6:30 in the morning. I sure hope that someone will be there to help. If not it will take about 6 or 8 trips back and forth b/c I can't carry those heavy boxes. I hate to make our visitors help, but....we'll see how desperate I am. LOL
Well, I have discovered .."wow, after tomorrow it's the weekend".....yes, and I'm looking forward to it. It proves to be another busy one, but hopefully a fun and productive one.
I am thinking that next week is going to be nuts too as it will be data entry week. But, employees will have lots of questions, The Stack will be rotting on my desk, employees will be begging for their stuff in the stack to be done, I still have a couple of corporate/employee issues that are unsolved that remain to be worked on next week and I'm sure that our hourly increases for employees will be unleashed to be entered at the same time that I am trying to enter open enrollment entries in which I have 3 days to do it, IF the employees turn their forms in. This has been the quickest turn time ever as the forms are due Monday.

Sorry if I'm pessimistic. I'm just experienced. LOL Been there done that. Know what happens. I think that is a realist point of view. Heaven forbid I be looked upon as negative. LOL <private joke>. Perhaps someone will get it.
Did you know we had a surprise sleet storm just a few minutes ago? Yes. We did. During my early evening "nap", I thought "who is turning their sleep sound machine on rain mode?" I was trying to figure out why TheTeen would have hers on? Was she taking a nap too? Unlike her. Then Hubby came in and said "it's sleeting, it's sleeting"....LOL
I said "Oh, that was real, not a machine?" LOL LOL LOL
Ahhhhh....my movie from NetFlix has arrived. I am not sure when I'll have time to watch it. Tomorrow I'll be grocery shopping for pie ingredients and then coming home and making the pies. Or I could wait til Saturday morning I suppose. Anyway, my movie is "Love Actually". I hope it is good.

My little "Wee Mee" has disappeared. I think their server crashed or they are doing something with the software. Perhaps we advertised a bit too much for them. LOL
Anyway, I hope my Wee Mee comes back to my side bar. I miss her.
Everyone have a good Friday.

I'm doing the "HAPPY FRIDAY' dance. Celebrating making it through another work week. You are not a pessamist, but a realist...I've been there with forms...they never all get returned on time. Sometimes it's never. Enjoy your day, for whatever it brings, tomorrow is the weekend. 'On Ya'-ma
