I counseled 60 employees on the nose today on employee benefits. They were lined up out the office door a lot. LOL I cannot believe this but I went through and counted all the forms of all the people that I had conversations with answering questions on benefits. It really was 60 employees. I got in 29 before lunch. The rest after.
I never got the first form entered today. I have brought the stack home tonight. It takes a while just to enter 1 form b/c of the fact that every thing is changing. But I'm going to sit here for several hours and see if I can get some done. It will be interesting to see if the corporate deadline is met. I have several things I myself am waiting on from corporate that I have yet to see from them. So...I think we are all way to slammed. Honestly, I'll be surprised if I get all things entered by the deadline. It is what it is.
I've had to tell my coworkers - if its not about benefits - we need to wait til Thursday to talk about it. I hate that. But, that is the only way I can get anything done toward benefits. Heck, one day has passed and not the first form was entered. I only have 1/2 the forms so what does that tell you about tomorrow? The other 1/2 of employees will be counseled on their benefits. And none will be entered at work. LOL So I guess what I enter at home is it for the next 3 nights. Three days working 12-13 hours each is all I can give. If it can't be done in those time frames, then I've done my best. First come first enter on the forms. What I have entered by the transfer date, those employees get their insurance cards first and won't have a delay in coverage. Forms were due today and only 1/2 turned in. So at least 1/2 the emps will have guarantee of no delay provided I can get 60 entered in these 3 short days. LOL
Well, gotta go get started.

How anybody thought that 3 days would be enough time is beyond me. Hope you get some rest! Lots of Love!
