12:09:00 AM EST
We are back from shopping....left at 9:00 something this morning and picked up Mr. Friendly Guy and then headed out to Opry Mills mall. TheTeen and Friendly Guy went their way and Hubby and I went our way. We had great luck in finding the rest of our Christmas needs. Lots of bargains out there, I was pleased to see. We still managed to spend a grand sum when all said and done. LOL
Hubby and I got thru with our shopping and found Dave and Busters. We decided to bowl while waiting on the kids. We had a blast. I called TheTeen on the cell phone and told her we were bowling and she said "wwwwhhhhattt? You're kidding?" So they joined us and we let them throw a ball or too. It was fun.
Then we headed out to Sukkho Thai to eat dinner. We then had to take Mr.Friendly Guy back to MJTown to a basketball game. And then we headed home by 6:00 ish to let TheTugMeister out to do her business.
I talked with my sister today. She said that Little Wayne is doing fine. Apparently he tripped and hit the bed rail on his sisters bed. He had to have two stitches.
Tonight at home, I was so tired that I almost went to bed at 8:00. I decided against it b/c tomorrow proves to be a busy one and we won't be here. So I ignored sleep, ignored my house, ignored Christmas wrapping, and worked more on the benefits entries. I am now down to entering 20 people's life insurance benefits. This is about 2.5 hours of data entry, I figure. It takes about 5-8 minutes or longer if info is missing or needs to be updated, to go thru and end all the various life benefits, and then enter all the new benefits with the new company. Oh, and I figured out which employees forms I didn't receive. There were 17 people that did not turn in forms. So then I had to go in and enter the benefit end dates on those folks for their 2007 benefits. They will not have benefits for 2008.
Well, I'm going to bed. I can't wait. We will know in the morning if we are going to the funeral tomorrow in C-Town for my Uncle Bill. I want to go. We havea few things to work out in our schedule first. TheTeen is supposed to go Christmas shopping with her Granny and Granda tomorrow. So...we'll have to get her there. And I don't think we will have time to go to church if we want to do that and then get to C-town before the funeral starts. Our church lets out about a quarter til 12 and it's a 1.5 hour trip w/o stops.
No snow yet. We'll see. It's no longer on the weather channel forecast on TV. I looked at the radar and didn't see where it would hit us, unless it develops or changes directions. Looked like it was mainly north of us.
Well, I'm crashing. It sure has been a weird week. And I'm worn out just thinking about what all is left to do this week. Thank goodness I'm off Thursday and Friday. Some of it will have to be done then.

Sounds like you had a wonderful day and got to do something fun and get the rest of the shopping done!!! I am down to stocking stuffers and something for one of my stepdaughters and to make a CD for Aunt Jan. Plus wrapping. I have not even started the wrapping so I am panicked.

Glad you got all the shopping done. I was rushed on mine this year. I could not get in the mood so I had to wait until I decided what I wanted to purchase. I think a lot has to do with the fact that I am not coming home this time of the year and there is other things I would purchase if I were not having to ship. I pick them up, weigh them in my mind and put them back. Sometimes, shipping would be as much as I am paying.
