Back to Work & Ipods

Photobucket

Hello there...

Back to work today.  What a stack has accumulated over the last 3 -4 weeks while I've been struggling with benefits open enrollment as well as taking a few days of vacation.  Kindof overwhelming really.  I got thru some of it today but have so many important things pending.  I can tell by looking at the stack that some folks are going to have to be patient with me until I get things done and get thru it.  It is going to take about 3 weeks to dig out from all of this load.

TheTeen is staying with SIL and hanging out with her CousinS and spending the night tonight.  Hubby and I rode in together today.  We can't ride together tomorrow though b/c he gets off early.  He and I went to Best Buy after work to get me an Ipod Touch case.  He bought it for me for one of my bday presents.  And also he bought himself a couple of things with a Best Buy card.  One of which was a 5 set CD of Vince Gil that someone told him was really good.  I guess I'll get to hear it too.

We are both real excited about our new IPODs.  I was up last night trying to get mine to work.  I had trouble b/c of my firewall settings and it would not let me connect to the ITunes store so that my Ipod would boot up and start working.  Hubby and I together in pulling up various McAfee screens came to one screen that allowed me to default to the original settings and that did the trick.  I guess I had Itunes blocked somehow.
But it was about 10:30 when we finally got it working and I needed to be asleep but was too excited to see what all my Ipod Touch would do.  It asked me if I wanted to get on our network and I had a password and was able to get on.  It is really neat.  And I already have a collection of songs that it swiped from my media player.

Anyway, after Best Buy we went to Red Robin to eat.  I am so full.  Their burgers are so good.

Well, I'm home now, and sleepy and plan on going to bed early, ignoring a big stack of stuff to do!  I also should use the time to begin my new class, but I'm too relaxed to do that.  LOL
Only one more day and then I'm off for another four days.  Life is good when this happens.

Nite Nite

My daughter's mini-ipod was lifted out of her purse while at school.  She has a good idea who stole it, but can't prove it.  I wish she'd told me when it first happened because I would have asked that the faculty at least check it out.  This has been a month of her losing things.  Two pair of glasses, too.  She is going to have to buy her next pair.  Tough lesson, but hopefully one that will teach her to be more responsible with her things.

My oldest grandson has an IPOD and is always downloading music off his Mom's computer but can't from mine...it won't work.  Weird for sure.   Sounds like you will be busy at work...as always...hope you and your family have a great New Years....hugs and love,

Nicole can't seem to download onto her Ipod from her computer in her room!  Isn't that the strangest thing?  She can only use the computer in the rec-room.  She goes nowhere without her Ipod.  I don't have one yet!

A little birdy told me your bday as coming up!
