Feeling Happy
Hearing Rainfall on the sound machine

And here is one with Sweet E...

And the car Sweet E got from Santa (and don't you know that Little Wayne will be all over it? LOL:

Sweet E is driving.............Look out!!!!

Little Wayne is driving....SisterK says he's already giving SweetE driving tips...LOL

Oh and here is my favorite....my BIL D getting his hair styled by Sweet E with a new playset from Santa. Oh no....Little Wayne seems a bit too interested in playing with this SisterK says. LOL I believe he'll be teased about this when he gets older, eh?

Oh, and sitting in the car outside....enjoy Sis if you are reading...TheTeen went quickly from a Barbie car to permit time. It doesn't last but a blink of an eye.

Well, yesterday we had a nice evening. Got the grocery shopping done and came back and just relaxed. I didn't finish cleaning other than get the kitchen back in order. I did do some laundry. But I spent time going thru emails. I had about 7 hundred something and I went through and I'm in the two hundreds. Had a great time.

I have been thinking a lot about how to save some time in my schedule next year so I have more time to focus on studying to get through it faster...I had thought about getting out of my graphic group and had decided to go on hold just before my birthday so they wouldn't have to send things out to me but then I changed my mind...b/c I always enjoy it so much during the year. I just don't have time to do the games, or tag things for people but I do have time to send a share out about once a week or every other week when we are not in the holiday season. So I think I will stay in it. Not sure where the extra time will come from to study though. But I got thru it last year and I'll get thru it this year. I DO plan on becoming a hermit again and "just say no" to planned activities when asked. I'll be able to socialize some, but if we get too much planned it makes it hard to get the class done.

Already this first class started mid December. I'm supposed to get a credit for 10 days b/c of the holidays. However they goofed up and said my end date is January 3. I think they gave me 10 days from my start date instead of my end date. Anyway, I hope they catch it before they turn off my software. I have decided I'll just wait to enter my first quiz until I know they have fixed the problem. I emailed them back but of course they are off until the 2nd. I'm afraid if I enter a quiz and they delete my software that I might have to enter it again. Anyway, besides their error, I'm still only going to be about a week and a half short in time getting this class done. So I really need to boogie down and get her done. I am thinking that I will start on it today.
I also want to finish the cleaning process and I want to finish my book "Santa Cruz"...I read on it last night and I'm almost finished. I may knock that out this morning.

Well, looking thru the photos this past year. I realized what a FUN year it was. And that has just made me realize that I had fun even though I was in class...so I guess it can be done. 2008 will be my LAST FULL year of school. woo hoo. I should finish spring of 09.
But in 2007 we went to Destin, went to the Tennessee river for the weekend with the girls weekend out, and went to Big South Fork with friends Don and Lisa, went to visit the Mennonite Farms and buy our huge annual run of veggies and fruits. We had a surprise bday party for Mom at my sisters on a beautiful summer day, with lunchout on the patio. We went day camping with Paul & Deb and had a wonderful cookout and boat ride...We had our FallFestFriends over for the annual chili and hotdogs and played Catchphrase. We got thru TheTeen's busy social life and drama production. And then Thanksgiving and Christmas with the family was special as always. We've celebrated lots of birthdays in the family and then lots of activities with church events too. So it's been a wonderful year and I hope next year brings wonderful memories too.

We are doing our annual FONDUE feasting tonight but only the cheese fondue and the chocolate fondue. We are having cornish hens cooked in the clay pot cooker for the main meal with sides of spring mix salad and creamed corn (my craving). We'll be dipping apples and bread cubes in the Le Guryere cheese we bought at Kroger yesterday. And we'll be dipping strawberries and bananas in the dark chocolate sauce. Of course the cheese fondue is our appetizer and the chocolate is dessert. We'll be waddling around as always before midnight. Good thing about New Year's Eve is we spread out the meal over the evening...appetizer early...dinner around 7 ish and then dessert around 10:30 ish and then we are ready to watch the ball drop.

TheTeen is going to a New Year's Eve party....I want her to have fun but I don't want her to go...but I guess I gotta let her go...it's at one of her friends house and the parents are there to chaperone...Still, beyond my control, but what can you do but try to have some faith and trust. I can't follow her everywhere. I guess Hubby and I will go together to take her --not sure. One may take her and one may pick her up. She is spending the night with FriendK b/c we live out of town. So FriendK's parents will be picking her up from the party and then we will be getting her the next morning from there.
Everyone have a good day....I'll be getting things in order for the New Year!
Maybe an update later.

I loved all the photos...you all looked so happy, well...and you have such a lovely family. The kids really have a treat driving around. I can remember getting all my grandkids one of those when they were little. Have a great time tonight...and come back with lots of photos and updates...Happy New Year!!!
Hugs and love,

I'm sorry TheTeen won't be celebrating New Year's with you. That girl has got one heck of a social life! It's good though. She doesn't get to do everything since ya'll live out of town. This will be fun...and adults there to help is a plus! :) Lots of Love!
