Less Pressure!!

Uh oh!  Our brave little Smokie has found Tugie's bed.  She cracks me up.  She does this as if to say to Tugie "I'm not afraid of you."  LOL

Today sure was a Monday.  I had orientation this morning from 8:00 until about 11:30.   Then I took lunch.  I went to Burger King and brought it back and ate in the car while I read some.  Most of the day, I worried about TheTeen...just thinking about things.  It just makes me feel so insecure when things go wrong.  Just a knot in my stomach.

It felt good though NOT having the pressure of school today.  I came home and trimmed the bushes out front and cut back the phlox, watered the plants and the garden, and fed the critters.   Then did laundry, fixed ice tea, and some pasta salad to go along with the 2 boxes of left overs from last night's dinner at Famous Dave's.  (We did not get to go to Golden Coral last night b/c of the crowds.  You could not get near the place and if you did, you got stuck in traffic.  LOL) So we ate at Famous Dave's and ordered that huge meal that feeds 5-6.  It comes in a big trash can lid. See below. LOL LOL LOL  So we had some good leftovers tonight.

After dinner I emptied a box with crystal bowls in it.  I cleaned out the china cabinet (dusted it and windexed the glass) and got it ready for when I opened the china boxes.  And now I'm about to get the verizon wireless rebate ready to send off for TheTeen's phone she is no longer allowed to use (arghhhh).

If I can get a box emptied per night, get some work done in the yard, and at least one thing done off my list...I'll have felt like I'm making progress each day.

Hubby hooked up his OLD computer in the garage/basement area....LOL  He sent me an email from down there.  I thought it was funny.  He loves his basement.  It's almost like he has his own apartment down there.  He has a fridge, table and chairs, an esspresso maker, computer, sofa, all his tools (making him my hero and handyman - lol) and all the cats....He is loving it.  And every night he goes down and "moves things around".  He cracks me up.  He is becoming pretty organized now that we have the space.

Hubby finally got TheTeen's blinds up in her room and the curtain rods that will hold the curtains.  So that is good.  The curtains look cute.  I'll have to take a picture later.

Bob, the momma cat, seems a bit better today.  She got up to eat when I fed the cats tonight.  And then roamed around the yard some.  Hubby had to go find her in her outside hiding spot and bring her back in.  And after we ate dinner, I opened the stair steps door and there she was on the first step.  Glad the light was on.  I'd have stepped right on her and then she would have really been in pain.  We will have to watch these cats on the steps.  So she wanted to be upstairs I guess.  She is somewhere up here in a hiding spot, I imagine.  The poor baby.  At least she is getting around and getting better.

Well, off to get this Verizon rebate taken care of.

Everyone have a good rest of the week.  Oh, I just love having a TV in the bedroom.  I keep forgetting we have it in here now.  Woo hoo.  I can watch the weather channel.

Nite Nite

You are doing great with a box each night and some gardening.... that is going to have to be my plan on the gardening too... just a little each day.  Our yard needs so much work.  I wish the weather would cooperate today!!  LOL hubby has his own place all set up-- my husband would love that!  Hugs,

If I could get 1/10th the amount done in a day that you do, I would feel like I was making progress.

That meal looks delicious.  I like the trash can lid idea.  LOL about hubby sending you an e-mail from the basement.  I'm sure he does love his little area.  I'm glad that Bob seems some better.
