Here is Smokie checking out something in our neighborhood.
This morning brought some cheer to me b/c I tried my contacts again, and I could see out of them. I had gone thru three pair of contacts on my left eye....trying to see out of it with no luck a couple of months ago. Well, my eye appt. is coming up soon and I wanted to try the one last left contact before going in. I was pleasantly surprised that it worked. I am not sure what the deal is. Either my eyes were strained or something or I had a few bum contacts. I'm just glad they worked. Of course I've wasted contacts now for my left eye...and now it has been a year so I have to go thru the exam again and get another prescription. I do have some insurance though with Eye Med thru our employer and that will cut the cost.
Work was so busy...just too busy. I have so much to do. I've not been able to do paperwork for two days with all the interruptions.
After work, I picked TheTeen up from cheer practice and we headed home to feed the critters. Then we headed back to school for a "free school physical". Works for me. It is only for a sports physical which the cheerleaders could go thru at 6:00. It was very crowded but kinda like Disney World. They kept 'em running thru the line and it didn't take too long.
Then we headed out for our girls night out. We went to Olive Garden b/c I had a $10 card to use that I earned via MyPoints. It was so good. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I had my usual pomodora capellini.
TheTeen made a 100 on her recitation of the monologue of Julius Caesar. It counted as two grades. She then made a good enough grade in English (an A) that she does not have to take the English exam. She was thrilled.
She has a geometry test tomorrow and a Biology Poster due...she has been given permission to look up a disease on the internet to do her "Wanted poster" for the disease (lol). She has to put a picture of the disease on the wanted poster.
I'm very sleepy. Not had enough sleep this week. I think I've yawned for two days.
Bob's injury is scabbing over but you should have seenus this morning trying to give her the antibiotics. It is in a dropper and it is pretty slow. We need a syringe thingie like the vet had...poor Bob. She is all shaved on that side of her body...Looks so strange. She is eating and feeling better I can tell.
Here is Smokie on our a/c unit and this house you see is the neighbors across the street. Their son must play hockey as he is out every day practicing in the driveway. I've not met any of the neighbors. It is so quiet that I hardly ever see them.
And the pic looking up at the sunroom. If you look really really close you can see the back of TheTeen's head in the sunroom. She was studying up there when I took the picture. And if you looked really really really microscopically close you can see Tugie looking out the window. LOL
So glad tomorrow is Friday and the weekend will soon be upon us. I need some R & R and some unpacking time. Also need to do some weeding and cut the uglies (dead blooms) off from the iris beds.
Ok, I'm crashing...and I hope everyone has an awesome week end.

HOORAY FOR THE TEEN!!!! JOB WELL DONE!!!!!! That's strange about your contacts. Wonder what Smokie is looking at? Hmmmm I'm glad that Bob is coming along. I could see the teen & Tugie in the picture. LOL

WTG glad to see the daughter is picking back up! Glad Bob is doing better. I don't know if I would have the stomach to treat something like that LOL.

So I'm guessing that TheTeen will be okay grade wise? I sure hope so. I know that's been a stress for all of you. Hope you get some rest this weekend. Lots of Love!
