Today was awesome and a role model for how I would like all my future Saturday's to be. LOL
First of all Hubby fixed Rosemary Grits for breakfast and they were great.
He ran some errands this morning and I worked on my "to do list"...changed addresses on a few things that I had missed. I looked up my grades and I made an A on my class. Gathered my paperwork together to get my reimbursement. I got our "we have moved" cards done. And I filed away a few things. Cleaned out my purse, cleaned out my work bag. I don't know....I did a lot of stuff this morning and I can't really remember what all I did ---mainly paperwork stuff. Worked on our grocery list for the week and also planned my breakfasts and snacks for next week as I'm trying to eat better next week. This week was a bit unruly and I let the stress influence my food choices. I always feel that the higher the stress the more you should be rewarded by good food. LOL
I left a note at the end of TheTeen's bed regarding her chores for today so when she woke up she could begin on them. 1) Folding the current clothes in the dryer and moving the washer load into the dryer 2) Emptying and reloading the dishwasher and 3) vacuuming. This is her biggest chore day ever. I had told her that if she didn't like those I'd be glad to swap with her.
I washed windows in the house. Since they have replacement windows it was not too difficult. I also cut the dead bloom stems out of the iris beds and weeded in the process. And I moved some things around, hung pictures here and there, and tried to picture where things should go and what color each room should be painted and what pictures should go in what room. So having TheTeen help, really freed me up to do a few other things.
I also showed her how to clean her bathroom: soft scrub, tylex, then fresh shower....and then cleaning the toilet, windexing mirrors, and then cleaning the sink and toilet areas with the disenfecting wipes - including the floor, corners, and around the toilet base. An eye opening experience for her, but she is required to keep her bathroom clean.
Well, we went shopping today and bought a few things for the house....like the phone system and cushions and bought some clothes for Hubby and TheTeen.
Now we are about to eat steaks and I need to go set the table.
See ya tomorrow...we will be trying out a new church tomorrow...more of a country church really.

I have never heard of rosemary grits. Do you fix like reg, and just add rosemary?

Loved all the photos...you sure decorate pretty...loved the guest room with the shadow box. Tugie looks so relaxed in her spot in the sun. My husband loves grits of any kind...they sure sounded good. Hope your Sunday is a relaxed one...enjoy!
