Wonderful Time with the Family....

We had a great time with Mom and Auntie M and Uncle K. They liked the new house and of course we all hung out in the sun room. I was in the kitchen though a good part of the time before dinner. We had amish pork chops and corn, and red potatoes with rosemary, and my own variation of the Cuban Restaurant "Columbia"s 1905 Salad".. a dish from the cuban restaurant that Auntie M and Uncle K took us to in St. Augustine, and we had rolls...tea, fruit tea, and then also we had strawberry shortcake. I did the cooking this time all by myself, and Hubby did the yard work. I have been doing most of the cooking since we moved here and have enjoyed it.

For some reason, after the meal, I began to get very tired. I cleaned up the dinner dishes after they left and then took Tugie out. Hubby watered the plants so I came back in and did laundry and am really having a hard time just sitting here typing this. It seems every muscle in my body does not want to move at all. I'm going to bed and it is only like 8:00 ish....

My entries are getting shorter it seems these days....I am tiring more quickly for some reason....tomorrow another busy day...I'll wait and write all about it tomorrow.

Maybe I can manage to stay awake a little bit and watch HGTV. LOL

I'm so glad that everyone had a great time with the visit from your family. I enjoyed the photos. Your dinner sounded delicious!!!!!! Especially the strawberry shortcake & brownies... Mmmm I do have a sweet tooth. What did Smokie & Gizmo think about your company?

Hi Sonya, It`s great to hear that your family enjoyed their visit to you, the food sounded wonderful as did The Teen`s delicious looking brownies....yummy! Your garden is lovely and you have so much space, how I`d love to have that much room for my plants. Love the photos.:o)
