Tornadoes

We survived the terrible tornadoes that hit the South last week.  We got hail the size of tennis balls here.  My g/f and I were outside in the midst of it trying to get the car in the garage.  Probably not the smartest thing to do but we got it in there before it got too much damage.  A lot of people were not so lucky.  Several of our neighbors lost their homes.  I can't imagine what that is like and never want to find out.  One of our neighbors live in a trailer and left it to go to a friend's brick house to ride out the storm.  Well, the brick house was nearly leveled and the trailer fared just fine.  It's strange to see trees all around a house twisted and uprooted and the house just feet away still standing.  My Mom also saw a house that the first floor was gone and the roof was sitting right on the ground.  Weird.  And it is unusual weather for the month of February anyway.  I am not sure what to make of it.  I am still considering digging a hole to hide in for the next batch of strange weather that is sure to follow.  I pray, albeit pagan, for those who were affected by the storms. May the Goddess watch over them all.  Blessed Be
