I'm A Survivor

So get this David takes me to this meeting and he is sitting in on it! And the first meeting he has be to with me in 7 yrs and he was acting as if he was seriously involved in Brian's schooling and actually cared! He even made it sound like he still lived with us at one point! When one of the teachers asked how he was at home... As I went to say something David jumped in and over me saying "Oh he is great! He has shown great improvement and I see it in the way he treats his siblings!" Brian was sitting across the table from him when he said this and he was just looking at him. And I was thinking "Who are you and you definitely  aren't in my house, when he is telling all his siblings how much he hate them and wanted them dead!

 

Anyway the teachers had nothing but praises about Brian and he is doing really well. They are moving him up an English level next yr and taking him out of support reading! Which is a good thing! He will be able to take a few extra electives which is a great thing! He will be able to try wood shop and metal shop, to give him a better idea of what's out there! He is also going to take a wild life class and a cooking class! At first he just wanted to do the cooking class and the wild life class and fill in the other spots with study halls , BUT I really wanted him to do the others too! Then his dad chimes in and starts acting again like he is a 24/7 dad and says stuff like "OH yeah I really want to see him try his hands at mechanics!" Then he starts how he is a pilot and a air craft mechanics... and how he would like to take Brian to work a few days and show him the ropes!!  Well yeah it is a nice idea IF he would just follow through! He told Brian that he would do this with him almost a year ago! He tells the teachers at the meeting that in aviation "the sky's the limit"  wonder if he was trying to be funny?

Any who so that was Wed. Thursday is David's  night with the kids but only Brent goes over because he has drum lessons! Well while Brent was there we run to the mall to pay my cell. before we left for the mall I called David to let him know where we were going , so he wouldn't  pull what he did a few weeks back! Itold him we won't be home until 9:30  that was at 7:40. He said  OK!  So we are driving down the road half way to the mall and my cell rings it's David asking when I was going to be home! I told him , "I literally told you 5 minutes ago we will be home at 9:30!" He says He forgot, I said NO you just  don't listen! So he asks us to come to his place and come and get Brent then when we are done!

Well we pick up Brent and on our way home Brent tells me where he was...

Get this David took him to the airport and he just did everything with Brent that he was telling the teachers at the meeting that he was going to do with Brian! Brent got to help fly the plane, fuel it and check the oil.

It's nice that he let Brent do this too, but he has been promising Brian he would do this with him! And Brian has been talking about wanting to do this forever too!

It's like the week before when it was his weekend and Bethany went to a sleep over, so he took the boys to see Horton hears a hoo... and I am almost 95% sure he knew she wanted to see it!

It seems like he knows who wants to do what, and IF they don't come he does it, as if to say "OH WELL you should have come along then!"

I seriously wish he was not like this and every time I think he is actually getting involved then he does or says something that makes it obvious he is only doing it to make himself look good!

OH I also found out that he is now also a flight instructor... and he is crying poor to me asking me to cancel the support hearing because I will only hurt the kids because he isn't making much!

Yeah well he is way better off then us! If he can afford 3 , 2 way tickets to Paris for only a week stay!

So now not only is he a pilot an aviation mechanic , has his IA and now he is a flight instructor too...

 

What's that saying FOOL me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me???

BOY do I feel like a fool!

Well no more!

We are going back to court and I am not canceling it no matter what he says!

I can't see it going down, it's been 5 yrs he has to be making more now then he was 5 yrs ago! Especially with his new trade under his belt!

  Go ahead with the support hearing!  It's his responsibility to take good care of his kids.  I went through that stuff too, many years ago, with my first husband, who was selfish.  He had a good job too, but kept trying to slide with child support.  AND I ALLOWED IT! Well our kids are grown up now, married with children of their own.  But they both remember what a cheapskate their dad was.  I only wish I'd been stronger at that time.

  what a total jerk he is, grrrrrrr he makes me wanna slap him.. flight instructor? they make alot of money. go to the child support meeting and ask for a raise in support. kids get older they eat more, wear out clothes faster, he helped make those kids, so it's his job they have what they need. you already do your part. ((((hugs)))))))

  He's a petty jackass and don't ever let him talk you into letting the child support go anymore.  You've learned that he will play 'nice' when he wants something.  That is so mean what he did to Brian, My heart hurts for him and Bethany too.  He's such a pr**k.
