Feeling Chillin'

Today, I am truthful in all that I do.

“Labor to keep alive in your breast, that little spark of celestial fire, called conscience.” - George Washington

Honesty is the best policy, but there have been times when I know that I have crossed the line into the realm of the “little white lie” so as not to injure another’s feelings or so that I would look better in another’s eyes.  I have found that truth telling makes my life uncomplicated and I don’t have to remember who I told what, when and where.  When you are not sure of whether you should tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth, a good rule of thumb to follow is this:

“When in doubt, tell the truth.  It will confound your enemies and astound your friends.” - Mark Twain
