Subject: Alpaca Breeding Time

This morning I bred Ebony to Dancing Paws. I really would have liked to have bred her to Maverick, but Maverick seems to have no clue. I brought Dancing Paws t Ebony, when I relized Maverick was clueless. I thought if I thought if I let Paws get her to the ground I might be able to switch herd sire. I pulled Paws offer her once and Maverick was not much close to figuring it all out. Since I really like little Freja, I st Paws continue the breeding. They continued to breed for 17 minutes.
Yesterday I
I took Lady Morningstar to Mid-Missouri Alpacas to breed with Bayfield. Bayfield was acting much like Maverick, but we finally accomplished out goals. At least, I hope we did! We are now expecting two spring '09 crias and one fall '08 cria.
