We made it down here without much ado. Sara is very discouraged. She doesn't want to be here. She's worn out & feels horrible & is lacking hope.
We got Sara checked in & in her room shortly after noon. Several folks came in. Unfortunately, it was like old home week. Ron & I went and got a bite to eat about 3:00. Lots of doctors & nurses came in. Everyone was telling her how important nutrition, but no one offered to get her any food. What's up w/ that? Sara actually had an appointment in Birmingham this past Friday w/ Dr. Olsen. He's a nutritionist who cared for her when she was on TPN before Miami. Obviously, they didn't make it.
Ron & I got to the Transplant House about 9:00 p.m. Checking in online for mail before bed. Everything is as expected.
