Feeling Silly
Hearing "Get Me Bodied" by Beyonce

The Whitney Houston Film Festival: On the couch

By Karu F. Daniels, AOL Black Voices

I couldn't resist this clip of Whitney Houston visiting BET's once-hot countdown show '106th & Park' hosted by AJ and Free during the media blitz for that album 'Just Whitney.'

As a surprise guest, the New Jersey native is adorned some white 'Matrix' get-up.

Loud talking, Cissy Houston's only daughter comes off a bit erratic.

But, like always, she's keeping it real -- even taking off  footwear.

It's MUCH!

Nippy, as she is affectionately known, even makes mention of that infamous Diane Sawyer interview, where she uttered that unforgettable line "Crack is wack" and asked the 'Good Morning America' hostess to produce the reciepts from her rumored costly drug habit.

Ummmmmm.

Now anyone can understand people's obsessive fascination with the multiple Grammy Award winner.

I loved the video retrospective of her career.  It was a nice touch.

On the show, she even gave a shout-out to "Big Bobby," who at that time was battling his demons (in one way or the other), after the camera panned to her daughter Bobbi Christina.

Just to think, now that's history!

TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR THE THINGS HE HAS DONE AND CONTINUE TO DO.
With that said, Whitney Houston, you are an inspiration to me. Your highs, your lows and in betweens.  You voice is like the sound of Angels on high singing melodies of love and inspiration...my mother has always said you have the voice of an angel. Although I do not usually watch the teen BET shows, I felt compel to see the clip when you visited their show.

It is SOOOO nice to see you again Whitney. I will continue to support you in your career; however I have JUST ONE QUESTION.......

WHEN WILL YOU MAKE AN ALBUM FOR THE LORD OUR GOD???
I pray that before my life is over on this earth that I can purchase a gospel album from you. Think of it as a gift to the Spiritually Faithful audience. It is GREAT to see you again, and thank GOD for Clive D.  whew, thank you Clive, I have missed you Whitney.  Continue to be encouraged in Jesus name we the millions pray...AMEN

Whitney, I don't know if you will read this but I wanted to share something with you, Lately I have been really having a hard time and contemplating taking my life, At 17 I lost my mother and a few years later lost my father and three of my brothers, Recently, I got bad health news and turned around, went to a club with friends and was drugged by someone in the club, robbed of my car, all my jewelry (unimportant) as well as other incidents that will remain unmentionable, I want you to know that my entire life for a 48 year old has not been a bowl of cherries to say the least, but I am getting up every morning, going to work and trying to as positive a person as I can, With most of my family gone or not speaking to me because I am gay, I give all glory to God and put a smile on my face somehow, Your beautiful spirit and talent are inspirations to millions and we need you, so know that someone you don't know is pulling for you and loves you,
