Feeling Quiet
Hearing "One" by Bono and Mary J. Live

NOTABLE/QUOTABLE: Bill Cosby

By Karu F. Daniels, AOL Black Voices

"For me, it ($1 million) was equal to about a week's worth of work if I went out and did seven days of concerts.  If everyone else gave just a little -- they don't have to carry any bricks or mix any mortar, just give $8 -- we'd be there"

--Legendary entertainer Bill Cosby on his philanthropic efforts towards the U.S. National Slavery Museum (Jet)

When are we going to finally wake up and hold this man accountable for his behavior.
He gives a cool million and we're supposed to forget that he had a years long affair that produced a child, and then pretend he's a good man...a good father figure?
He made a living off of Fat Albert with the worst dialogue in a cartoon (at the time), with characters living in squallid conditions and now he wants to talk about the way kids talk and dress?
He is not a role model or an authority on any issue, save comedy.

This is great that Dr. Cosby is lending support to this cause. The museum is scheduled for opening in 2008 and will be in Fredericksburg, Virginia. It will also be non-profit.

I think before anyone passes judgement on Dr. Cosby regarding his speech in Washington you should make certain that you are familiar with the speech in it's entirety....you can read it here....(copy & paste into your web browser)

(and) you can read his response to the criticism here -
