Feeling Happy
Hearing "It Seems To Hang On" by Ashford & Simpson

SEAN "DIDDY" COMBS: Letting It All Hang Out

By Karu F. Daniels, AOL Black Voices

Now that his former lover Jennifer Lopez has rode off into, what seems like, matrimonial bliss with Latino pop superstar Marc Anthony, Sean 'Diddy' Combs is opening up about their highly publicized love affair.

"I couldn’t marry Jennifer," the hip hop music icon reveals in the November issue of 'Vibe' magazine. "I was in love with Kim [Porter] that whole time. I’d never stopped being in love with her—you can’t fall out of love with somebody who’s your friend like that."

"I definitely left home. I admit I left home," he adds about stepping out on the beautiful bronze beauty he has impregnated for the second time out of wedlock (they are expecting twins in December).

"The thing with Jennifer and me was we were so alike," he rationalizes. "Kim and I are opposite."

"[Jennifer was] Somebody who got it. But after that runs out, you realize you’re really just friends, and you went out, and it’s all good."

"The hype can pull you in. Y’all are lookin’ good together, and it's feelin' good, and the relationship is genuine…but I couldn’t commit to her the way she wanted me to," he continued about the three time married Hollywood starlet. "Everybody who ever meets the girl winds up marrying or wanting to marry her. I couldn’t be like Cris [Judd] and Ben [Affleck] and Marc [Anthony] and all. A lot of times…you think you can leave home—Oh yeah, I’m a leave home, I’m running away, I’m out—I talked that shit. Sometimes you think if people aren’t paying attention to you the way you want, or things aren’t going the way you want, you can go."

J. Lo wasn't the only thing on the ubiquitous mogul's mind (or tongue) either.

He talked candidly about his sex life and what changed it, and how Porter (a former fashion model) responds to his skills.

"I’m nasty [laughs]. I ain’t gonna lie. [In the  mid-90’s] I was buck-f ---in’ wild. Beyond ménage a trois. Crazy—you’re twenty-something and renting the presidential suite at the Hotel Nikko [now Le Méridien] in Beverly Hills. You got the bathtub filled with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries….That was a wild time."

"Then sex became dangerous. You got to remember everything that happened with Eazy-E. Once it happened to Eazy, it was time to slow your ass down. And then all that energy you were spreading becomes a one-on-one thing."

"And, yeah, my girl right now is very happy. As meticulous as I am with my work, I’m even more meticulous with my lovemaking. I take much more time, and I like to do it for a long time. I like to look my woman in her eyes and kiss her deeply. Sometimes I’m making love and she’s like, ‘You gonna save some for the honeymoon?’

Guess Puffy is following Janet Jackson's footsteps in talking candidly about the sex life.

Will it help sell the new album, 'Press Play' --in stores Oct. 17?

Hmmm, if his pop tart group Dannity Kane can come in Number One, anything's possible.

"Kim never really sweated Jennifer. She was, 'Ah, you’re playin’ yourself…you’re running around with your little Puerto Rican girlfriend. You’ll be back.' Kim— just always cool, calm, collected—she knew I was gonna come back, and she was right."

"Some people just got your number like that. I ain’t gonna lie: I'm hard to love. My hat goes off to her or anybody else who’s dealt with me, because a lot of your time and attention is really not on that person. A woman deserves to be nurtured and taken care of. Kim taught me that. She…taught me how to love. Somebody gave me multiple choices early on—having a smooth working relationship, having a personal life, or being in the music industry. I chose the music industry."

The November issue of the Quincy Jones-founded urban lifestyle periodical arrived on stands this week.  Diddy graces the cover bare-chested, glistening in a boxing ring.

I just want to know when is he going to marry this beautiful black woman who has (not have, wayjay  wink!) been by his side for the longest.

TELL ME GOT DAMNIT!!!

Ha!

Well first off J-Lo Look good going than She ever did comming. I'm glad She finally found out what she wanted to do, Because she started to look like a hoe. And as for Miss Kim she is just doing what any women in her shoes would do who has kids with someone. wouldnt' ya'll do the same thing. Cause if not some but most men won't do SH**.

Just reading what Diddy has to say about J-LO makes no sense. Why talk about her at all she has been married for rhow long. I think Diddy needs to get over it. As far a Kim Porter everyone knows that she ain't no better than J-lo both of them are hoes! The only difference is that Kim was poppin out babies. Everyone knows the only reason she moved on from Al
B Sure was because he ran out of money. People in the NY knows that she is a hoe just at a high price

It is so funny to me that someone will have the nerve to talk trash about someone they know nothing about. There is no reason for Kim to feel threatened by JLO the hoe. She can't even get herself together, let alone keep a man. Marc Anthony, or whatever his name is, is just obsessed with her.  So she took what she could get. Kim on the other hand, A HIGH FASHION MODEL for the record, has stuck by her man for 12 years. She also has a business in ATLANTA with two of her friends called "three brown girls". Diddy's other baby mama on the other hand is a stylist who tried to take him to court to get more money because Kim receives more than she does. DIDN'T WORK THOUGH BOO BOO! So know your facts before you state things that are false. Like she stated in Essence, he fell for a big booty and a smile.  Kim was probably right when she said that JLO wouldn't want to play house with two little black kids. She won't even have any babies of her own let alone take play house with someone else's. So just know that little bit of information before you start running your mouth. If you don't know what is going on behind the scenes, you will NEVER know.
