WESLEY SNIPES: Trouble Man

By Karu F. Daniels, AOL Black Voices

What in the world is going on with Wesley Snipes?

We all know that the dark-skinned Hollywood hunk hasn't had the greatest media profile as of late.

With all of those tabloid stories about the 'Jungle Fever' star impregnating crackheads and trying to go back to The Motherland without a passport that have surfaced, many of his fans may be wondering when will the brother get back to "acting' and stop "acting up."

His latest film project, 'Hard Luck,' --starring Cybill Shepherd and Mario Van Peebles (no jokes please)-- went straight to DVD and arrived in stores today.

And that title may be befitting for his fate with the judicial system.

According to the 'Associated Press,' the 44-year-old 'Blade' actor "was indicted today on eight counts of tax fraud accusing him of trying to cheat the government of $12 million in false refund claims."

12 million dollars?

Hizelle to the nizelle.

"Snipes also failed to file tax returns for six years, according to an indictment unsealed in Tampa, Fla."

Whoa.

Facing a maximum of 16 years in prison, he has not been arrested because authorities don't know where he is, the IRS said.

Wesley, Wesley, Wesley.

Damn. Damn Damn.

More About Wesley Snipes' Latest Legal Woes.
