Deployed Soldeir Loses Home..Can you help?

www.soldiersangels.org is a group of angels that supports our deployed troops. I am signed up for an emergency notification of major help needed. Here is the copy of the email I recieved: (I have removed the mailing address to send money to or gift cards, if you would like the mailing address please email me at CanyonSunGirl@aol.com )

Dear Soldiers Angels:

We have a very serious request this evening, we have a Deployed Soldier (J*** D***) that was on his tour in Iraq when he was called home due to the recent Tornadoes. His home was blown away, and they lost everything they had.

They didn't even have anything thing to clean up all they have is the cement slab where the house used to be. I have seen pictures and there is absolutly nothing left.

The Military has given him 2 weeks leave to take care of the situation and this is the email I received from Donna Williams the AR. Team Leader who went to see what they could do to help

"We went to Atkins yesterday and met with them to give them the Walmart card and Justin made it into town Saturday night.  The military is only letting him stay for 2 weeks but they are grateful for that.  This couple is amazing!  The tornado picked up their home and exploded it then carried off everything they had.  They found a few articles of clothing, a few photos, the back to her recliner and the door to their refrigerator.  That\'s it.  They didn't even find so much as a fork from their kitchen.

The Dixon's are country folk who farm and work hard - they are definitely not lazy and were just speechless when they rec'd the gift card.  They are so thankful for it and wanted ya'll to know.

Thank you both so much and we are going to get busy on fundraising here in Arkansas!!

Donna"

Soldiers Angels sent some money for a gift card, but it is a drop in the bucket compared to what they need. The Address is right below this and there is a PayPal String right below the address if anyone wants to use that.

On this paypal string just remember that sometimes in transit the underline disappears so if you want to use it make sure all of it is underlined or it won't work

Anything you can do for this deserving Soldier and his family would be greatly appreciated

Sincerely,

Bonnie Averett, VP                                                                                                                                                       Soldiers Angels Org.

I'll be praying to see where exactly God leads our family to help this other military family. I'm not sure how important it is to block his name, etc all his info was in the Stars and Stripes paper, and I saw them on one of the even news segments as well.

I hope they get a lot of help.  I live in TN and our state (and my county) was affected in the same way.  I have put my efforts and resources into my neighbor's needs.  Praying for all those that lost family members, friends, homes, cars and belongings.  It was a terrible tragedy.
    Hugs to all, Joyce
