DISHING SOME DIRT.......shhhh don't tell anyone!
I don't do it often here but I'm doing it today. DISHING SOME DIRT! Yeah I know, how unbecoming it can be and I do try my very hardest to stay away from the water cooler talk but every now and then I get bitten by that gossip bug and I'm on the phone saying something like GIRLLLLLLLLL, NO SHE DIDANT! Instead of getting on the phone I'll just share it with you ( whoever you are )
Did you hear about Star and her hubby calling it quits??? Now, I remember Star from her days with the VIEW and Lord knows if you tuned in during the months before she got married Well, her getting married was just about all she talked about! She was over the moon about this guy talked about him and her wedding plans everrrrrrrrry chance she got. I mean more than Oprah used to talk about her study Stedman ( and that was a lot) but to be fair, I was all for it. If there is one thing that Star knew how to do it was enjoy being the center of attention and this wedding was going to be her big -one time- every light- shine on me- party. She was having her cake and eating it too! I was like, YOU GO GIRL!
The only thing that dimmed the light, was how she paid for her wedding buy using it as advertisement on the VIEW. Every time she opened her mouth about it, she had to mention the source by name like the cake is from here, the dress is from here, the music is brought to you by there. It was like a cheap yard sale after awhile. I think it even had something to do with her losing her job but that is a whole other story. Star was happy and she could care less what Barb and the girls were saying about it all. She was marrying some hunky lawyer, her Prince in an Arimoni suit and she would live happily every after..........
THAT was until all the rumors started! Something about him having late night meet and greets with someone who could be a man??? hmmmm it sure had the tabloids talking, We all know the horror that Terry McMillan went through! ( now I know you can't tell by looking but I took one look at that MAN and knew that a man was not what he really wanted to be. The more I looked at Star's husband the more I saw well, that same look. I don't know what you would call it but he had it! Star wore her heart on her sleeve about the whole I WANT TO BE MARRIED thing. I mean really, she had everything else. She wanted that Diamond ring like Jordan wanted the ball and now look what she got........ I would kill him.
WHAT'S A GIRL GOTTA DO TO FIND A REALLL MAN???

I know , I know, I think that she should thump him up beside the head. She was so happy to get married and like you, I didn't blame her. I even understood why she talked about it constantly. I don't know why they are divorcing but I've also read those rumors. Thank goodness, Star will be okay. She'll recover and go on with her life. Maybe she'll find true love the next time around.--Sheria
