Feeling Surprised

Oops! Did you see that?

It seems that someone over at Road & Track magazines online counterpart got a little trigger happy -- they posted a video showing the Chevy Camaro concept! The car is not due to go public until tomorrow at the '06 Detroit show, oh well that is the beauty of the internet. Our friends over at Autoblog quickly took note to make sure some of us got to see a sneak peak. As of this writing it seems the video has been removed from R&T's site.

Lets see what we get tomorrow at the Detroit show.

Man the retro thing is going to kill my wallet.  I love to see all these old favorites redone.  America is getting it right.  Dodge is capitalizing on this rebirth and so is Ford, now Chevy too.  Great move! Keep um coming!!

They will be showing the Camaro tomorrow (Jan 8th), seeing as its just a concept they will more then likely stuff a major engine in it. If this car every comes to frutition then I would imagine engines in line with what Ford offers on the 'stang and what Dodge will offer on the Challenger would be in order. With Ford just announcing the 475hp Shelby GT500 and Dodge essentially saying the 425hp Challenger is a go, then a version of the Vette engine wouldn't be far fetched to keep a new Camaro up to snuff.

Here is hoping they make it, I'd love to see a new pony car battle.

    I own a rare 69, L-89. If they put the Z-06 in the new Camaro's, I'd buy one !
