Acura Goes Retro with Legend

With the recent trend of making new cars look old (aka Retro), Acura took the theme to new levels by releasing a new Legend based on the 1987 model year! The model is so retro in style that it even has two tone paint and rubber trim on the bumpers. Outfitted with the latest 3.5 V6 utilizing i-VTEC, the Retro Legend produces an astounding 440hp and 300 ft. lb's of torque. All of this power is coupled to Acura's newest SH-AWD system that propels the car to 60 mph in under 5 seconds.

The interior continues the authentic retro theme with beige cloth seats, two tone dashboard of fine grained hard plastics and an original 80's era AM/FM Radio cassette with Dolby noise reduction and dual control knobs. Acura spares no expense on the luxury appointments by including not one, but two ashtrays for your smoking enjoyment.

Expect to see this old-school Legend model no time soon as all of what I wrote was of course made up from my tired mind.

Yeah I know, it was a lame excuse at being funny. Hey, you can't say I didn't try. In truth the image is of a 1987 Acura Legend. The brand is celebrating 20 years of U.S. sales and brought out the original for the display. I wish they never dropped that name!
