The Power Outage Blues

One of the worst calamities known to 21st century man has struck Stately Eklund Manor this evening. During a routine thunder storm, a transformer in my neighborhood blew up. I heard an explosion which was instantaneously accompanied a total loss of power.

Happily, my computer is a laptop so I can be online for the next 100 minutes. Or so. And since the power is out, my dsl modem is Tango Uniform as well. I am left with dialup, and as we all know, that means I'm pretty much effed. So.

I may blog, or I may just surf. We'll see.

Thanks for stopping by!

Yep, screwed I am. After I finally broke down and got dsl this year, I swore I'd never go back to dialup...but here I am. Ack.

Thanks for the compliments, and the feedback. I appreciate it mucho. Come back soon!

You are screwed.  I have dial up and I have been cut off too many times to count today.  Luckily, we have only had one power outage.  I like your dry sense of humor and your grasp of historyand current events.
