For the First Time in Seven Years...

...Joss Whedon doesn't have a show on television. Whedon is the genius responsible for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly. Each of these shows was better than most of what passes for entertainment on television, and now all we have of them is reruns and TVD's. Bofus.

Whedon has a blog called Whedonesque. If you're a Buffy fan, or simply a fan of great television writing, check it out. I found this there, and it pretty much sums up the whole Buffy thang.

Yep. It sure did.

As Entertainment Weekly pointed out, 18 months ago, Whedon had 3 shows on the air, and now he has none.  As bad as that is for him, it's much worse for the viewing public.  Oddly, he's signed up for a one-year stint as a writer for the X-men comic books.  It's been a long time since I was a comic reader, but this might be enough to make me reconsider.

I was never a fan of Buffy. But I have to admit it is a pretty good show. Although I will check out the blog. On WB11 the shows that I watch played by actors are One Tree Hill and Smallvill at the most. Hope you have a good day, bye
