On a personal note

On a personal note
This morning my mother had her second round of cataract surgery so I am taking the day off to supervise her recovery. Last month her right eye was done and all turned out well, despite her fears and despite her surgery taking place during the Eklund family's annus horribilus that 2004 started as.
In between bursts of doting son-ishness I plan to write a few very rare mid-day middle of the week blogposts.
