Have I mentioned that my mind keeps wandering away from accounting?  Boy will I be glad when this is over!!!!!!!!!

Got the first of 3 sociology homeworks done and emailed to my sociology mentor yesterday.  Hope the other 3 are that easy :D

Seeing the sun makes me sooooo happy! (Now if that makes all the snow go away...we got about 5 inches of it yesterday before it changed to rain then snowed again this morning).

I am oh so struggling with Accounting II and I think I've lost my mind.  HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now for the DSL...I got the new DSL modem last week and that wasn't the problem so it had to be returned.  Monday the Verizon guy showed up (albeit around 3pm) and replaced something somewhere in my neighborhood that is between me and the central station.  So far it's only dropped once and only for a few minutes.  I'm not so sure about this yet, but I'll give it a chance.  Verizon is really treating me with kid gloves....hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a day!

1.  Mom.  Mostly we got along.  I just couldn't believe she could tell me about some woman we met who she saw again.  The woman said she never praised her kids and in fact if they got a 98 on a test, she scolded them and told them they could have had a 100.  One of her sons was there (4 sons, 1 daughter) and said, "yeah, that's why I'm so <bleeped> up today."  Mother just has no concept that she hurt me just as much with her lack of praise.  She says she was always proud of me (and my brother), but hell if I ever knew it since she never said it (she claims she did just not in front of anyone...hmmm, wasn't in front of me either so I'm wondering if she only said it to herself).

2.  Got email from the school.  We have a little billing error that has to be cleared up so I can go on with my next semester.  ARGH!  I called to get this cleared up back on 10/28!!!!!!!!!

3.  My DSL is down again (SURPRISE!)  Last night the tech told me if it happened again to call back and they'd send a tech.  Now tonight the people who schedule the techs won't send one.  ARGH.  Well, I'm getting a new modem in case the one I have is bad (could well be) and a supervisor is calling me back.  His answer better be...we'll send someone.
