Yes, my iMac is still sitting where it landed when I took it out of the box.
Sooner or later I'm going to have to move it to the office or studio.
But gee it's just so convenient on the dining table.

Everyone has seen the cool new G5 iMacs, but how many have
seen one all dressed up and ready for another great Mac chat? OK, the shirt does come off for that. Thanks to former Host Home Decor - Betty, for gifting me the shirt. Great fit. I added the Apple logo to it.

Be sure to drop into the Mac community chats. No schedule anymore, but hang out for a bit and someone's bound to drop by.

While our Mac Computing Community chatroom on AOL is no longer hosted, the same old Mac gang still meets there to share ideas, help each other solve problems, and just shoot the breeze.

Many of the former Hosts and LDRS have made new names so you can easily recognize them, others are using names you're already familiar with. Come join the usual cast of characters and meet new Mac friends.

It's the last day of the AOL volunteer CL Program. After today the familiar friendly AOL HOST and LDRS names won't show on my Buddy Lists or in chatrooms and on boards. Mail will bounce, web pages and journals will disappear. It will be like waking up and finding yourself in a different world.

I sit pondering what to write ... feeling alternately sad, angry, stressed, and at the same time relieved. I'm tired and I'm numb.

My anger came late ... very late. Our party and my last official Hosted Chat last night was crashed by AOL. They broke things for Mac users. So instead of having a fun time ... and discussing the exciting new changes coming from Apple and networking with friends, we spent it getting attacked by people who had never been to the Mac chats before. People demanding we fix it ... cursing us, being abusive and disruptive.

So I'm sad and angry today. And that's not good.
