Dallas fans bought over 1,500 Terrell Owens jerseys online in his first 48 hours as a Cowboy, once again proving that Cowboys fans will back any a-hole on the planet as long as he wears a star on his helmet.

According to this article, "the club said it had sold 1,500 Owens jerseys online, the highest sales for an item since the team started selling merchandise online in 1997."

In other T.O. news, I'm sure you know by now that he has a book coming out about his time in Philly.  The book's publisher says, "Finally, the real T.O. story can be told."  No, not the story about why he called out his teammates and made himself the most hated man in sports.  Of course the real T.O. storys is "an important chapter in the long-term struggle for players' rights in the NFL."  I didn't make that up, although I wish I had, because I find it hilarious.

  YOU KNOW I LOVE J.J REDICK, BECAUSE HE IS NOT AFRAID TO STAND UP FOR GOD! HE IS NOT ASHAMED TO SAY HE WRITES POETRY EITHER! I THINK MAYBE IF SOME OF THE MEN IN THIS WORLD WOULD ACT LIKE HE WE WOULD HAVE SO MANY PROBLEMS!

  This whole TO fiasco just goes to show us what is wrong with sports today, reward someone for being a total dick-he-d, give him the money and the recognition for what....performing on the field...no....being an upstanding citizen...nope again...for being an ass....it is too bad that the real world doesn't work that way....I could wake up every morning, go into my office, act like a total jerk and then ask for a raise...if I don't get it , I can complain and then go to the office next store and watch them lay down the red carpet and say "who cares what you did over there...you are here now and none of that matters...."  Then we wonder why athletes all over the country make newspaper headlines for acting like idiots...and I am not talking about the pros...I am talking about college and HS athletes....why because they see that it doesn't matter...there is always someone out there willing to overlook any kind of asinine behavior if it means that they will win another game.....but why are we surprised...in the Great old USA Sports is King and winning is everything.....
