It seems that Miami's Jason Taylor may have been a victim of a hate crime, rather than a simply assault as reported earlier today. 

Apparently Redmond Burns attempted to hit Taylor's car with his truck at an intersection, forcing Taylor off the road. Burns and Taylor confronted one another, at which point Burns yelled racial slurs at Taylor, before going to his truck, grabbing a metal object and threatening to kill him.

After the altercation, Burns fled the scene in his truck and Taylor followed him -- here's a shocker -- back to a trailer park where the man lives.  The cops were called and forced to use pepper spray to arrest the wily redneck.
