Hoops Players: 2, Vick: 0
Marcus Vick seems to be headed for either a life of crime or the Arena League (I'll bet on the former), but two guys who haven't played football since high school are getting a shot in the NFL.
Mason's Jai Lewis was signed by the Gaints on Monday to try out as an offensive lineman, and yesterday UConn's Ed Nelson learned he will get a chance with the Rams as a tight end. When I heard the news of Nelson, I thought this would be the perfect time to break out some photos we took at the D.C. regional during the Tourney.
Below is a shot of Nelson from the regional. I know I am asking you to look at another man's ass, but please, take a gander. Notice something? Like, say...a big brown crap strain?
You can see a zoomed in shot, if you dare. I assure you, it was ten-times more disgusting in person. The skidmark first appeared after the team's warm-ups and Big Ed didn't even take the liberty of changing at halftime. Marc Bulger is so happy Nelson isn't trying out for center.
