Cubs Fans Hate Jacque

During last night's Nationals-Cubs game, a fan threw a baseball at the head of Chicago's Jacque Jones in the ninth inning.  The ball was thrown by a woman (who clearly has a better arm that Johnny Damon), who was drunk and detained, but for some reason, not arrested.  Classy lady.  I assume she was pissed off because the Cubs were only up by four runs on one of the few teams in MLB that are actually worse than they are.

"I threw a ball to Juan (Pierre) and then turned around to get in my position and the ball came whizzing past my head," Jones said. "It went right past my face. I'm not going to let one person ruin my time here. I signed here for three years and I signed to help this team win."

Chicago fans have not taken well to Jones in first season with the Cubs.  And why should they? Clearly the reason they suck is Jones' .264 BA and not the fact that Wood, Prior and Lee are all hurt.
