As we all know by now, Roethlisberger was released from the hospital yesterday and said all the right things in a statement: “I’ve gained a new perspective on life,” “I’m fortunate to be alive,” “I never meant any harm to others,” if he rides again “it will certainly be with a helmet.” Wait, if he rides again?  Idiot. Just give it up until you retire, you dense, backwoods moron.  But that’s neither here nor there. The real gem in this story was provided, as usual, by Chad Johnson.

 Ben needs to get him so gold tooth replacements.

Johnson addressed the issue of Ben’s accident resulting in more contractual restrictions imposed by owners by saying the following:

"They took away the [touchdown] celebrations. Now we can't enjoy ourselves outside of the facility? That's not fair. If you're going to do it, do it very cautiously. If you're going to ride a bike, ride it the right way. Don't speed. Do it for enjoyment. If you're going to bungee jump, have two cords in case one snaps. I don't ride anything. I just talk trash. That's it."

God I love Chad Johnson… in a totally hetero sort of way.
