I opened my inbox today to find a link to the Lastings Milledge Facts site from the one, and only, friend I've ever had who's from Long Island.  There are over 520 Lastings facts on the site, all apparently provided by various Mets fans.  A majority of them are rather lame, but here is a sample of a few that I enjoyed:

524. Due to his good nature, Lastings Milledge gave Joe Torre one of his dreadlocks. After three days of incubation it became Melky Cabrera.

501. Lastings Milledge designed the Levi's 501 jeans.

494. Lastings Milledge has memorized Carlos Delgado's entire hitting notebook.

456. Lastings Milledge came from a Black Hole.

425. Sal's Pals really love Lastings Milledge more.

353. Lastings Milledge hit for the cycle in only 3 at-bats.

283. Lastings Milledge has never lost at Tic Tac Toe. Ever.

155. Lastings Milledge ghostwrote the bible.

75. If a tree falls in the forest, Lastings Milledge hears it.

  Very funny. Milledge reminds me of Gregg Jeffries in that he's a highly touted Mets prospect who comes up to the Show and doesn't have to a damn thing to set Mets fans and the media on fire.
