Bloggers at the NBA Draft!

I know yesterday I said I would have some kick-ass video up from the draft by now, but we are having some technical problems, i.e. we have never used a video camera and can’t figure out how to upload the footage.  We will get it out at some point though, I assure you.

A cross-eyed Lego rendering of Kevin Garnett.

Although they aren’t the moving pictures I promised, you can see some of the photos we took at the draft by clicking on the links below, and also read what J.E. Skeets had to say about the experience (much more to come from him as well… he missed his flight out of NYC yesterday and was stuck trying to figure out how to get back to American Jr. all day).

After the 40/40 Club draft party on Tuesday night, my brother and I may have enjoy one too many Guinnesses (or is it Guinni?).  I’d say I looked pretty refreshed on Wednesday.

Before heading to the Garden, we made a stop at the NBA Store to overdose on the Association’s marketing abilities.  Skeets was in awe of Yao.

Once at the draft, we found this woman who was crazier than Stu Scott’s left eyeball.

Of course, we had to take some close-ups of the outstanding ESPN crew. Here Stephan A. tries to remember what he’s so angry about.

Speaking of angry, the Knicks fans were not happyat all.

I think Stu Scott may have pointed out Rudy Gay's watch during one of his suckfest interviews.  Here it is, up close and personal.  He was rockin' it at the 40/40 Club... naturally.

After the draft, Skeets, my brother and I headed out to discuss the thrills of blogging and podcasting while enjoying some beverages.  It is here that I learn that there is no EPSN in Canada.  I don’t think Skeets realizes that this may be a blessing in disguise.  Although there are no photos of this debauchery, let’s just say Skeets missed his flight the next day and I got two hours of sleep before boarding the plane back home.

Video to come! Seriously, it will be posted sometime before the start of the NBA season.
