Ben Wallace Exits Detroit
Pistons center Ben Wallace has decided to leave Detroit for Chicago. Wallace said he was disappointed with the four-year, $50 million offer from the Pistons (I had no idea it was actually possible to be "disappointed" by 50 million US dollars, but that's just me), so he opted to sign a four-year, $52 million deal with the Bulls. So, he left for two mill more? Pocket change, homie. Clearly the decision had little to do with money.

This whole thing is great news for da Bulls, however. After drafting two guys that possess crazy amounts of clichéd adjectives ("upside" and "awareness" come to mind), and by adding the best defensive player in the Association, I'd say Chicago is looking good.
Obviously, this means that the Wiz lost out on the Wallace sweepstakes (something tells me they were never really in it), but at least we drafted two Darkos!
UPDATE: According to the best Pistons blog on the interwebs, this guy is being lured by Detroit to replace Ben Wallace.
