Favre May Have Gone Insane

Hopefully for Favre's sake he is back to abusing prescription drugs. Then maybe (and that's a big maybe) he can explain the following comment:

"I really feel like this is, as far as talent is concerned, the most talented team that I've been a part of as a whole."

Really now, Brett? Green Bay is virtually that same it was last year when they lost 12 games, minus Javon Walker (who ironically enough, was their most talented player), yet they're somehow more talented that the Packers' Super Bowl squads from the 90s?  I'm gonna have to call B.S. on Brett's somewhat pathetic attempt at "rallying the troops."

Green Bays' Owners/Management is equally to blame for allowing Brett to continue playing. His attitude is just a reflection of the mans positive approach to the game. He is one of the Great Quaterbacks to ever play football. This man believes in his football abilities, otherwise he would have hung it up. As whether he can perform, he may have lost a step or two and his arm is a little tired.  As a 49er Fan since its inception (1948) I've seen the great teams of the past. Players, including Jerry Rice was not willing to admit that his physical abilities are not what it use to be.  Johnny Unitas, as you had the same problem.  In my opinion, Steve Young was the only one that left with his football attributes still in tact. Smartly, he didn't want to gamble on a possible career (possible) brain ending injury. I retired at age 62 years during the prime of my career in business.  My only regret was that I couldn't have retired sooner to truly enjoy life.
