Nationals Not Letting Go

Ah yes, Nationals.com, I feel your pain. I too so desperately wish Livan was still with the team and pitching against Tom Glavine on Friday night, but he has moved on to a better place. We must all accept this.

It won't be easy, however. Now when I make the trek out to RFK Friday night to drink to excess and tell Mets fans how much they suck even though their team is the N.L.'s best, it won't be against the backdrop of a fine pitching duo. Instead, it will likely be Glavine vs. To Be Announced, which just doesn't have the same ring.

Nationals.com and Saved by the Blog aren't the only people missing Livan. My brother is a bit broken up about it as well.

UPDATE: The Nationals have finally accepted that Livan isn't coming back. They have updated their site with Jason Bergmann as the Nats' stater Friday. To Be Announced just got a lot sexier.
