Just when Royals fans' brooms were starting to collect dust (get it? irony is so fun), they were able to break them out last night against the horribly tragic Red Sox.  Sometimes Boston is just so painfully pathetic that you can't help but laugh.  After being the clear-cut favorite to win the East at the break, they are now three games back and counting.

Clearly this is all Varitek's fault for hurting his stupid knee, right (that's what you get for wearing an f'ing 'C' on your jersey... this isn't hockey you d-bag)? Whatever the reason, Sox fans have resorted to relying on a Yanks-Sox brawl to get them back on track.

  We won the first World Series... all the other ones since were anti-climatic.
