From With Leather comes a story in today's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in which Joey Porter calls Kellen Winslow something that rhymes with the word "maggot" for his late hit in the fourth quarter of Thursday night's game. Winslow might be a lot of things ("warrior," idiot, overrated come to mind), but I'm pretty certain he isn't gay. Then again, Big Peezy isn't the sharpest tool in the shed... or the straightest himself. 

This is the same guy, as With Leather so accurately points out, who parades around in a belly tee every chance he gets, and who likes to kiss other men.  I'm not one to pass judgment, but I'm pretty certain kissing another dude ranks higher on the gay charts than hitting another man after the play is dead.  But maybe that's just me.

   I hope this can be circulated to the right people. I have been an avid football fan since the late 1950's and what a change. I watched many bowl games and was very pleased to see the referee's keep control of the taunting and show-boating that has became such a large part of the N F L . It has became a common practice of trash talk and show-boating in every gaame,the 'super-star' in all these games has to show off,beat thier chest,slaam the ball,spin it on the ground,or make a ststuesque show of a first down.This in acting out for something they are being paid for and [well] and expected to do. With the tallent and money they are paid,there should be some class,not trash act's !!!!  THE N F L RULES COMMITY SHOULD GET A GRIP AND CONTROL OF THESE ACTIONS. I for one am discusted with it and hope it will be controlled, I enjoy football,college and pro and do hope it will be changed so I can continue to enjoy not only my favorite teams,but good competive sport by all,WITH ALL THE TRASH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! c.m.p.
