And You Thought MLB Contracts Were Insane

Looks like Tom Brady will have some competition for biggest dreamboat in American sports. David Beckham has agreed to a five-year deal with the L.A. Galaxy, which apparently is part of some league called "Major League Soccer." Never heard of it.

Anywho, the contract is worth 128 million pounds. I haven't peeped the conversion rates lately, but I'm pretty sure that's somewhere in the ballpark of 250 million dollars. The brass in L.A. just paid a quarter-billion dollars for a soccer player. I'm sure that investment will pay off.

And I assume he will be bringing her to America with him.

I only asked b/c that's the best pic I've seen of Posh in five years.

I've also asked the Bull to give me 300 words on Becks coming to America. This should be good.
