The headline of this post is not some sarcastic, smart ass result of having read about Rays' rookie Elijah Dukes threatening to kill his ex-wife. Although, if you're interested and haven't heard, he did (allegedly) call her up and say the following via voicemail, but without so many hyphens:

"Hey, dawg. It's on, dawg. You dead, dawg. I ain't even bulls-------. Your kids too, dawg. It don't even matter to me who is in the car with you. N-----, all I know is, n-----, when I see your m-----f------- a-- riding, dawg, it's on. As a matter of fact, I'm coming to your m-----f------ house."

Yeah, I know, his shenanigans aren't cheeky and fun at all.  What is fun, however, is the bottom of the St. Pete Times article, which lists Dukes' kids, their birthdates and their mothers. 

Since November 2003, Dukes has brought five kids into this world, with four different mothers.  Impressive, to be certain, but it gets better.  His first was birthed by a Miss NiShea Gilbert (the target of Dukes' above voicemail) on November 25, 2003.  His second child was born on December 3, 2003 to a Miss Carla Bryant.  Now, I'm not doctor, but if he had two kids born eight days apart, it's safe to say Dukes was being less than honest with these two ladies.  Shawn Kemp would be so proud.
