Saved By the Blog - Est. 2004

I was there yesterday afternoon for the Nationals home opener against the hated Mets.  The Nats pathetic display on the field took runner up to Vice President Dick Cheney's.

Walking up to the stadium, my lady friend and I pondered whether Cheney would be booed or not.  I don't like to get into politics on the blog (this is about sports, after all), but let's just say I was not going to be applauding the man.  About 30,000 strong more than echoed my sentiments.

I took video on my phone of Cheney being introduced to overwhelming boos and birds (the guy in front of me actually put his beer down so he could hold up both middle fingers), but my video is not nearly as good as this one from the AP.

  Who cares if somebody spells his name wrong,, he cant get anything right anyway.   in fact, The whole Bunch are a mess, starting with 'W' our Doped up President.  It's only fitting that the american demonstrators are carrying Mexican flags in their support for amnesty. Just goes to show you how backwards this country has become.

  If your going to be so passionate about blasting the guy, at least know how to spell his name.
