What a weekend.
Ever had one of those weekend, when you wish Monday would come? I was sickly all weekend, but I am feeling better today. Got some sad news about two people I care about--both of whom lost their fathers over the weekend. My heart goes out to both of them. One of our children either sprained or fractured his ankle. Crutches and no driving for two weeks.
We had really warm weather the past few days over here, almost to a point where it was too hot. Sinus colds and hot weather don't go well. I'm actually grateful that I'm sitting in my cold office. I wore a dress today even--I always tend to dress up when I feel shitty.
The receptionist IS HERE today. Okay, she has 2 more days to go. Will she be here tomorrow for her luncheon? I'm predicting she may be here, but will be a no show on her last day, Wednesday. I have to tally up all the lunch totals, and fax our order today at 10:30. Can you say, fun?! There is nothing worse than having the duty of collecting money. That is one thing I don't like. When I sell Avon, I rarely run into that problem, but there is a woman here that "forgot" to pay me for some Avon she bought over a month ago, and I'm embarrassed to ask her about it. No hints I throw out helps. Oh well. Hopefully she'll remember to pay for lunch.

I like the idea of giving her another invoice. As for the Gary Coleman spectacule...Has this woman seen his size? No offense to him but how threatening can he be? I think the entire thing was a Scam to keep him in the limelight somehow. (Hugs) Indigo

When I sold Avon, I did run into that problem lots of times. I used to send out reminders by email that they still owe. After a year or two, I changed my policy. I never gave merchanidise to anyone if they didn't have the money to pay when I delivered. That way, if they never paid, I could sell the items to someone else.

Can't you give the lady in your office another invoice and say you think you forgot to invoice her the first time around? If she "forgot" to pay maybe you could have "forgotten" to tell her how much. She may need a reminder!
Just an idea.
