RSS Feed Party
Lately I cannot seem to get enough of RSS feeds. I subscribe to a bunch of different feeds ranging from work-related to the completely nerded-out.
There are several feed readers out there. I have two I use often so that I can always have access to my feeds.
I use SharpReader on my work computer. The thing I like about it is the notification window that pops up in the lower part of my screen every time there is a new headline.
The My AOL feed reader is useful when I am on the go. It is Web-based, so there is no software that you have to install or download to get it to work -- unlike SharpReader. Best of all, you can access your feeds from any computer with an Internet browser and most Web-enabled handheld devices (i.e., PDA).
So what is on my feed list? (All of the links below don't go to a regular Web page. They go to the RSS feed page. After you click on the link you can copy and paste the URL into your feed reader.)
▪ Community Forum Blog (of course)
▪ Calcanis.com
▪ Magic Smoke
▪ By The Way …
▪ Ted’s Take
▪ BBC World News International Headlines
▪ Engadget
▪ c|net Latest Headlines
▪ Download.com Mobile Software
▪ Wired Technology News
▪ North American Motoring
▪ Motoring File
▪ The Adventures of Jason Hamacher
▪ Themindcontrol
What is on your feed list? Leave a comment and let me know.
Oh, and if you haven't done it already, check out the AOL Feeds Directory.
