AIM Pages Hot Tip: Share Your Blog with the World!
My third
installment of making a killer AIM
Page is about how to
effortlessly add your blog to your AIM Page. Adding your blog is
integral to the life of your AIM Page, as it tells the world about your
life. In this case, I will showcase adding AOL
Journals. Don't hold back;
you are welcome to add any RSS/Atom syndicated feed.
You can read
up on RSS from my previous
article explaining its features.
How to
Add Your Blog on AIM Pages:
1.
Sign in to AIM
Pages.
2. Click
to "Edit" your page
3. Click “Advanced Edit
Mode,” located on the left side halfway down the page.
4. Next, click “Add Modules,”
located on the top.
5. From the
Module Gallery on the left side, scroll down and select “Rich Text
& Feeds.”
6. On the right side, pick
the “Feeds” module, and just drag-and-drop it to your favorite spot on
your page.
7. Click the
“Update” button on the module, then put in your blog’s RSS feed URL.
(Info
on getting your RSS feed URL) When that's all done, just click
"Save."
8. Finally, hit “Publish” in
the upper right corner. Presto!
Now you have your
blog nested inside your AIM Page working for the world to see. There is
no need to touch it, as it will update automatically when you
update your blog.
