Hearing Top Alternative - AOL Radio

Hi, folks. I'd like to take a moment to recap this week's blog entries and a bit of of my opinion about how we view online safety.
Yesterday, we added four new awesome skins to People Connection. Don't forget to let us know which one is your favorite.
This week, I invested the time in putting together a blogging series about online safety. In case you missed the entries, here they are:
There is no complete guide, program, or law that will protect everyone. I don't claim to have all the answers regarding online safety, but I just wanted to call attention to different forms of Internet safety. In my opinion, online safety is about the balance between what you are willing to sacrifice in privacy and maintaining the ability to control it.
As we transition into this new environment of Web 2.0, we must acknowledge the risks and benefits that it provides. I don't intend to scare you -- I merely would like to help you grapple the topic of online safety as it relates to your experience and not exclusively the headlines about creepy child predators.

Yesterday, we added four new awesome skins to People Connection. Don't forget to let us know which one is your favorite.
This week, I invested the time in putting together a blogging series about online safety. In case you missed the entries, here they are:
-
Online
Safety: Using the Web Safely -- An overview on how we view online
safety, and valuable links to other Internet safety-related sources on the Web.
-
Online
Safety: Software, Updates and More -- In-depth information about
computer security software.
-
Online
Safety: Don't Swim with the 'Phishes' -- Tips to help
you combat e-mail scams (phishing).
- Online Safety: Official AOL Mail and Certified AOL Mail -- Is that e-mail from AOL legit? This entry should help clear things up.
