Comments on Thanksgiving Day game

I saw most of the game on Thursday.  We went to thanksgiving dinner at a friends and the mom had the DOG SHOW on tv when we arrived.  I was recording the game at home, so I didn't freak out.  As soon as the dog show ended tho, I was able to get the game turned on.  Just in time to see Drew Henson throw his first touchdown pass (tho it was to the wrong team....)

There has been a ton of talk among fans about whether Drew should play instead of Vinnie now.  We still have a SLIGHT chance of finishing with a winning record (9-7).  Yes, I know it is very slim since we still have to play the hated Eagles.  They've clinched tho, so maybe they will relax against us when we play.  It could happen.  What are my thoughts about the Drew vs Vinnie talk?  I personally would like to see Vinnie finish out the year.  Why screw up Drew's confidence by playing him now is what I think.  But I do understand the thought of playing him now and seeing what we have in him.  We should have two relatively high 1st round picks in the draft come spring.  One could be used on a QB.  Two QB's in college that will be in the draft that I think would be possible choices are Matt Leinhart (spelling?) from USC and Jason White from Oklahoma.  White won the heisman last year and Leinhart is in the running this year.

What would I use the other pick for?  Mike Williams, reciever from USC if he was still available.  Dude got screwed by both the NFL and NCAA after the whole Maurice Clarett fiasco.  The courts ruled the could enter the draft so he did.  Then the higher courts overturned the ruling.  So he couldn't be drafted.  Then the NCAA in all their wisdom wouldn't give him back his elegibility.  Messed up is what that is.
