Happy New Years to all of you.  We spent the New Year at a Speakeasy in the Barton Creek Country Club.  YC and Rachel were dressed to kill, so to speak.

Here are a few things that happened in 2007.

Governor and Mrs. Perry moved into the house one over from ours.  We pass security guards on our way in and out. Mrs. Perry had a coffee for the neighborhood women and it was lovely.

John and I were able to spend six months in Grafton, Vermont in our newly purchased 1820 house.  Crossways.

I got taped for TV, was a featured artist and wrote an article all for Quilting Arts Magazine.

Three of my small embellished quilts were published in Jamie Fingal's new book: Embellished Mini-Quilts: Creative Little Works of Art  http://www.amazon.com/Embellished-Mini-Quilts-Creative-Little-Works/dp/1600591043

I taught my friend Arthur how to use EBAY and now I know everything there is to know about antique oil lamps.  If you see a Cobalt Coolidge Drape with a finger handle, let me know.

Daffney finally learned what to do when we took her "outside."
