Y2K Survivor

So I see by the little counter on the side bar we are approaching 4,000 hits since this experiment in bad grammar began.  Just last November I was talking about how, on the first birthday of the Y2K Survivor Blog, I was nearing 2,000 hits.  I was tickled to death at that number, because it meant somebody out there had found the web site and liked it enough to come back.

The other cool thing about that number was it was more than one a day, so Y2K ette's claim all the hits registered are mostly me making more posts and showing off the old ones and correcting the screwed up ones... OK so maybe it was mostly me... but not all of the visits were mine!  Out of 365 days 2000 people popped by to check out the blog.  That comes out to an average of nearly 5 and a half people clicking on this site per day last year.  And I would venture to guess that I probably only averaged 4 hits on my own... so Mom, thanks again for reading.

But with the little counter on the side clicking away like a dollar counter on the gas pump.  HEY I CAN DREAM CAN'T I??  This means that in the past 6 months there are more than twice as many of you as there was last year, which would mean maybe about 11 hits daily, and I probably still don't do more than 4 a day on my own, so that means...  Mom is losing her memory and can't remember she has read this thing already.

Looks like we need to schedule a new Doctor's appointment.  Happy Mother's Day
