Stealing Time

    I thought I would start off with one of my more recent pics. This is one of the merry go rounds at the Canfield fair earlier this month. Greg and I had dropped our boys off so we could go back that night, I really wanted to take pics of the fair at night. I was thrilled that I got so many, some better than others, of course. (This was one that could've been better.) It was also one of the last good times Greg and I had together. Yes, we're still together, but due to recent unpleasant events, I'm planning on leaving him. (Unbeknownst to him.) So as I look at this pic, there is a bittersweet smile that spreads across my face: the joy I experience when my camera is in my hand, seeing the world through my lens....yet the hindsight of how bad things really were/are/always have been in the relationship I am in. Knowing the struggles I must face now. Yet the pictures remain and continue to give me that sense of joy and pride....regardless.
